Olivenöl als wichtigste Zutat in der Küche

Olive oil as the most important ingredient in the kitchen

Olive oil is a real all-rounder in the kitchen.
Depending on how it is used, it can play a dominant role in dishes or just accompany it gently. It can round off tastes or set your own accents.

Every friend of Mediterranean cuisine knows extra virgin olive oil in a salad or with bread. With its striking aromas, however, olive oil is much more versatile in the kitchen.

It can be placed directly on the plate over various dishes such as pasta, meat, fish, grilled vegetables or scrambled eggs. This gives the dish a wonderfully unique or flavor-enhancing note, which also saves a lot of salt.

Olive oil gives creams and dressings the desired smoothness. It can also be used as a base for marinades or for baking bread, rolls and cakes.

There are olive oils for higher temperatures, which even allow professional frying, and there are oils that are at best only slightly heated or enjoyed cold.

The range of possibilities is extensive and the different taste nuances are plentiful - so it's best to try them right away!
